今日の社長からのコメント、ちょっとのことですぐに諦めていては開発なんかやってられない、とのこと。
I received a suggestion from the country manager at my company that we shouldn’t abandon a project just because of minor barriers.
できる限りのことを尽くして、それでもダメだった時にどうすればいいかを判断すればいい、と教えてもらった。
He also mentioned that when we reach a point where there’s nothing more we can do to develop the project, we will consider whether or not to continue.
であれば、今担当している案件、わたしのできる限りのことは実施してみる。そして、それでもダメだったときに、諦める。
If that time comes, I’m committed to doing everything I can for the people at the project site and for the project’s development. I will only give up when there’s truly nothing more I can do.
ついでに、職場も諦める。
At the same time, I’m prepared to give up my position within the current company.
うん。これぐらいの潔さがとてもいい。それくらいでむしろちょうどいいし、なによりわたしの性格にピッタリ。そうと決まったら、うじうじしてないで前に進むのみ。
I find strength in being adaptable, and since I’m not deeply attached to my current company, it seems like the best choice for me. I’ll continue to push my project forward without hesitation.
