Adventures at the Train Museum: Insights into the Bullet Train Simulator

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I took a paid vacation and went to the train museum with my family today.

We were prepared to enjoy our day at the museum since it was a weekday, and we had purchased tickets for the operation of a bullet train simulator. Having learned from my previous mistakes, I had already placed the tickets into my wallet as soon as I got them.

Compared to previous visits, the museum was relatively empty due to it being a weekday. I thought that I might be able to secure the simulator ticket through a smartphone app.

The simulator was quite challenging, and I gained an understanding of how complex the role of a train conductor is.

Moreover, I had to announce the key points of the process as I performed them while playing the simulation. I know that points are often called out when the train departs from the station, but there are numerous points during the train’s journey. I now appreciate the hard work of train conductors. It’s fascinating for people like me and my son, and it’s thanks to their dedication that safety and punctuality in timetables are maintained.

To be continued.
