前夜は仙台に一泊である。
I stayed at a hotel in Sendai last night.
もともと、仙台にいる取引先との会食の予定であったが、中止になってしまった。
Originally, I had planned to have dinner with the clients, but it was canceled due to some issues on their end.
変更するもの面倒だし、なによりリベシティ仙台オフィスにて転職オフ会を企画してしまったので、断る訳にもいかず、そのままにしてホテルは自腹で泊ってきた。
Despite the change in plans, I was determined not to cancel the meet-up I had scheduled on job changes. I decided to keep the hotel reservation as it was and covered the cost myself.
とはいえ、今回はとてもリーズナブルな価格で押さえることができ、とてもラッキー。午前中に転職オフ会を実施してきた。合計６名が参加してくれ、みんな熱心に聞いてくれた。
Fortunately, I managed to book the hotel at a reasonable price. The meet-up proceeded as planned, with a total of six members attending. All of them paid close attention to my presentation.
でも、なんだろう。この前くらいから思うようになってきたことがある。それは、参加者のリアクションの薄さ。相手側の熱意の問題ならまだしも、こちらの説明が過剰だったり、理解が追い付いていないのであれば、少し内容を変更しないといけない。もう少しやってみて感触を探りたい。
Although the meet-up went well, I have had some concerns since the last one. Specifically, I noticed a lack of active engagement from the participants. It’s fine if this is due to their level of enthusiasm, but if any problems arise because of my explanations being too difficult or complicated, I need to revise my presentation. I intend to gather more feedback from the participants to better understand their thoughts.
