今日は出社して来週からの出張準備をしてきた。
I worked at the office to prepare for the upcoming business trip.
夕方、Corporate PPAの勉強会がリモートで開催されたものの、具体的でないというか、まだ実際に業務で使う段階ではないため、身が入らない。そのため、途中で退出してリベシティ東京オフィスに行ってきた。
Although there was a remote study session on the corporate power purchase agreement, I couldn’t fully focus on the topic. It didn’t feel like the right timing, and the explanations provided were not concrete. As a result, I left the session early and decided to go to the Liberal Arts City Tokyo Office.
わたしが座ったテーブルでは経営相談が行われていた。３人の個人事業主を相手に、これから事業をしようと考えている人が、指南を受けていた。
Upon my arrival at the office, I found that a management consultation was in progress. A new freelancer, who had his own business idea, was being consulted by three senior freelancers.
こんなの、普通に過ごしていたら絶対に聞けないので、とてもタメになった。個人でお金を稼ぐことの大変さが改めてわかった。わたしのように、細々と個人事業主で少しでも稼げればと思っている人が稼げるほど甘い世界ではない。
Since I don’t often get the opportunity to listen to such conversations outside of the Liberal Arts City Office, it was both attractive and valuable for me.
弱肉強食の世界、すごい人はいくらでもいる、のを実感。わたしは大人しくサラリーマンを続けてFIREができればと思う。
After listening to the consultation, I realized that making money as a freelancer can be quite challenging. I learned that people who aim to earn income with minimal risk face a tough road. It’s a competitive world out there, with many talented individuals. For now, I plan to continue pursuing my path to financial independence and early retirement (FIRE) while maintaining my office job.
