Navigating New Beginnings: Balancing Individual Vision and Team Dynamics on the Path to FIRE

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I reported on my previous business trip during the weekly progress meeting.

Working at my current company since April, I’ve noticed that more colleagues interfere without offering help than I initially expected.

Our company has only 13 employees, and while I anticipated a different culture and attitude compared to larger Japanese companies, it seems that not much has changed, likely due to most of us having prior experience at such big companies.

During the meeting, our branch manager advised me that practice makes perfect in the project development phase. However, I’ve decided to proceed with my project the way I believe is best, as I have been assigned to a new project by him and don’t want to be bothered by minor issues. I want to go ahead with my vision.

Ultimately, my goal is to achieve financial independence and retire early (FIRE). This would allow me to have the freedom to choose the people I work with and focus on what truly matters to me.

To be continued.
