今日はまたサイトに出張である。今日の目的は、市役所を訪れ、関係構築をすること、地元の区長を紹介してもらって事業説明をするための足掛かりにすることである。
I went on a business trip to the same city office again, aiming to expand my network and gather personal information about leaders in the districts as potential contacts for our project. Though I felt there were some aspects I could improve on, I did my best during this trip.
事前に約束した時間までは、少し余裕があるので、途中の道の駅によっての地元の情報収集もしてきた。改善すべき点はあったものの、とりあえず聞きたいことは聞けたので、ナイストライだったと思う。
During our free time between arriving at the station and our appointment with the city office, we visited the farmer’s market to gather local information. It was my first time doing this, and despite some room for improvement, I made an effort.
ただ、帰りの新幹線で感じたことを書いておく。駅で待っている間にお腹が空いたので、近くのコンビニで弁当を買った。新幹線の中で食べようと思っていたが、思っていた以上に混んでいたので、仕方なくトイレの中で食べた。
On my way back home, while on the Shinkansen, I picked up a lunchbox from a convenience store since I was hungry. However, the train was much more crowded than expected, so I ended up eating the lunchbox in the bathroom.
コンビニ飯はたしかにうまかった。だけれども、とても侘しくて悲しくて涙が出た。なにが悲しくてコンビニ弁当を新幹線のトイレで食べなければならないのか。
The food was good, but I felt a sense of loneliness and misery. I couldn’t understand why I had to eat in the bathroom.
この思いをバネに、早くFIREできるようにがんばりたい！コンビニ飯でも構わないので、堂々と楽しく食べたい。
Reflecting on this experience, I’ve decided to put more effort into my side hustles to achieve financial independence and retire early (FIRE).
I no longer want to compromise on my meals or feel the need to apologize for my choices. I’ll work hard to build a better future and not let anything hold me back.
