洗濯機を回して、詰め替え用の洗剤を入れているときに、また魔女の一撃がきた。前回と同じく、腰の右側である。治ってきたと思った矢先のこのありさまである。まったく、どうしようもない。
After running the washing machine, I strained my lower back again while refilling the laundry detergent. The pain is on the right side, and it’s frustrating to experience it again while I was recovering from the previous episode.
なので、今日は終日大人しく自宅で過ごした。ただ、家にいてもなにもやる気が起きないので、できるだけ散歩に出かけた。
I decided to stay home for the day, hoping to give my back some rest. However, I wasn’t in the right mindset to work on my side hustles. Instead, I took the opportunity to go for a walk outside as much as possible.
午後は雨予報だったので、午前中はずっと外にいた。近くのホームセンターに行って、前回買い忘れた工具入れを買った。救急箱も欲しかったが、売ってなかったので、その場でネット検索してみると、よさそうなのが売っていたので、別にネットで買った。
Since the weather forecast predicted rain in the afternoon, I made sure to spend my time outdoors in the morning. I also made a stop at the hardware store to pick up some tools I had forgotten to buy last time. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a first-aid kit in stock, so I looked it up online and placed an order from there.
午後は予定通りに雨が降ってきたので、自宅で大人しくしていた。なんとも寂しい誕生日である。
As expected, it started raining in the afternoon, so I stayed home. It’s a bit disappointing how my birthday turned out.
