晩御飯を食べているとき、咳をしたら、腰に電撃が走った。どうやら、ギックリ腰なってしまったらしい。
While having dinner at a ramen shop, I suddenly experienced a sharp pain in my back when I coughed. It appears that I may have strained my back.
初めての体験なので断言はできないが、おそらく症状から察するに間違いない。
Although this is the first time I’ve experienced this kind of pain, I can’t say for certain. However, based on the symptoms, it is likely the case.
おかげで、座っているのがとてもツライ。というか、座っていられない。なので、今日のお風呂は入るのを止めた。大人しく湿布を貼って寝た。
The pain made it very difficult to sit on a chair, to the point where I couldn’t sit at all. Consequently, I had to forgo taking a bath. I applied a poultice to my back and went to bed.
風邪は引くし、ギックリ腰にはなるし、人生の中で最悪のGWだ。
This Golden Week has been the worst in my life, as I not only fell ill but also strained my back.
ホントに風邪を引くとロクなことがない。とりあえず、動けないほどの痛みではなく、それだけが不幸中の幸いである。
Getting sick only makes matters worse. Fortunately, the back pain wasn’t too severe, so I was still able to move around.
