今日は妹宅でのBBQに家族で参加してきた。
My family and I attended a BBQ party organized by my sister’s family.
GW初日、天気もよかったので、絶好のアウトドア日和である。準備はすべてやってもらった代わりに、デザートを持参して参加した。
It was the first day of the Golden Week holiday, and the weather was sunny, making it a perfect day for a BBQ. My sister’s family took care of all the preparations for the party, so we decided to bring desserts for everyone.
我が家と妹家族、わたしの両親が参加しての大人数でのBBQとなった。お肉に野菜、魚介類まで準備してくれ、とてもお腹いっぱいになった。やはり、外で食べる食事はとてもうまい。
With my parents and our family in attendance, it was a wonderful gathering of relatives at my sister’s house. They had prepared various meats, vegetables, and seafood for grilling, and we ended up getting full before even finishing all the ingredients. Eating outdoors in such pleasant weather was truly enjoyable.
コロナ禍になって、大人数が集まっての食事が難しい状況が続いていたが、外で食べることで、その心配もなく安心して食事を楽しめた。
After the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a refreshing change to be able to have a party and gather together again. We didn’t mind the limitations we faced before, as we savored the experience of dining outside in the sunshine.
我が家が持参したどらやきも喜んでくれたので良かったが、次は何かを企画する番である。
Everyone seemed delighted with the dorayaki we brought as a dessert, and it reminded us that it’s about time we hosted our own party as well.
