正式なオファーレターを受領した。
I received the official offer letter today.
昨日、エージェントから口頭で言われた内容が書いてあるだけで、しかも全部が日本語で書いてあるので、なにも驚くことはない。
Since the conditions mentioned in the letter were already communicated to me by my recruitment consultant yesterday, I wasn’t surprised. The letter was written in Japanese, so I understood its contents.
しかし最後に気になる文言が１点。この条件は次の知識・経験、技能・資格を有することを前提とするという説明に続き、”再生可能エネルギー分野における深い知識”、”インフラプロジェクトに関する知識と経験”とある。
However, there is a statement at the end of the letter stating that the offer is extended to someone with deep knowledge, experience, skills, and qualifications in the renewable energy industry and infrastructure projects.
たしかに、これまでたくさんのインフラプロジェクトを経験してきた自負はある。しかし、知識が深いかといわれると正直、Yesとは言い難い。
While I have sufficient project experience in the industry, I find it difficult to claim that my skills and knowledge are as deep as they expect.
ちょっとサインをするのに不安になる文言であるが、今更もう後戻りはしたくない。あとは突き進むのみ。掴んだチャンスを活かしていきたい！
Although this statement gives me pause when it comes to signing the letter, I don’t want to dwell on doubts or look back. I am determined to move forward and seize this opportunity.
