今日は現在エントリーしている会社の５次面接で本社まで行ってきた。天気がよかったので、コートを着ないで行けたのはラッキーだった。
I went to the company I’m applying for to have the 5th round of interviews. It was a sunny day, so I didn’t wear a coat.
会議室で４対１の面接となった。はじめは本当の面接で、これまでの経歴や業務内容をより詳しく聞かれたが、それも15分程度で終わり、その後は会社の実際の資料を使っての説明になった。
There were four interviewers present, and they asked me about my previous experiences in greater detail. However, the interview session was only 15 minutes long, and they provided a brief overview of their work procedures using their documents.
また、転職できる時期も聞かれた。なんでも、４月から新しいプロジェクトが立ち上がるので、それに合わせて来てほしいとのこと。
They also asked me about my availability to start working at their company. They explained that a new project will be starting in April and requested that I join from the beginning.
こちらとしても、そのほうが助かるので、ぜひ検討したいと回答しておいた。あとは、社内でどのように報告するかである。
Considering that it would be beneficial for me to learn about the project, I responded positively and considered their offer. The only concern I have now is how to communicate this decision to my current employer.
同じPJメンバーには特にいいとしても、どうやって部長に報告するかが問題である。
I’m not worried about informing my project members, but discussing it with my current boss is the main issue.
