今の会社に入って初めてボーナスが支給された。
I got my first bonus at my company today.
前の会社では、業績不振のため途中から完全に無くなってしまったので、10年以上ぶりの受け取りになる。
As the bonus at my previous company didn’t happen due to the economic slump which happened a few years later after I entered, this was the first time in over 10 years.
一時金として、給料以上の大きな金額を受け取るのが、これほどまでに嬉しいものかと改めて実感した。
I remembered that receiving much more money than the monthly salary was a big deal
しかも、前期はPJの進捗もよかったこともあり、想定していた額を超えたのも影響している。
Moreover, I got a larger bonus than the price written in my offer letter since the performance of my project was good during the last period. This surprised me.
しかし、今期はそうはいかないのはもう目に見えている。いま以上に収入を上げるには転職が必須である。
On the other hand, I’m already able to predict that it won’t happen again after this period since my project is behind the original schedule. All I need to do is change my job to increase my income.
