スマートスピーカーが自宅にきた。
A smart speaker I ordered arrived at my home.
数あるメーカーの中で、もちろんわたしが選んだのはGoogle Assistantである。
While there are various types of smart speakers from different manufacturers, I obviously chose the one made by Google.
これまで、TVなどで紹介されるのしか見たことがなかったが、実際に買ってみての感想は悪くはない。
I have only seen it through TV programs and my first impression of it was not so bad.
声だけでTVやエアコンを操作できるのは非常に便利だし、リモコンを探すという手間がなくなるだけでも十分満足である。
It is very helpful that the TV and air-conditioner can be operated by speaking to the speaker only. Moreover, I’m satisfied with taking the trouble out of finding the remote controllers.
ただ、照明だったり床暖房だったり、一部の機器が古くてスマートスピーカーでは動かせないのがちょっと残念である。
However, I’m a little disappointed since I wasn’t able to turn on the lights or floor heating with a smart speaker due to the equipment being non-compatible.
