今日は10月にプロジェクトに関する報告会で説明した計画進捗を報告するために、またオーナー本社へ行ってきた。
I went to the owner’s HQ office with my boss to report on the progress of the construction plan which we explained this October.
例によって、六本木の超高層ビルでの打合せに緊張した。なんと今回は、進捗の報告を直前になって上司からパスされる始末。
I was nervous like last time when I entered the skyscraper in Roppongi. My boss suddenly gave me a role in the presentation just before the meeting.
ま、そこに関しては、わたしが発表資料を作っているので、あまり大きな問題ではない。
Actually, it’s not a big deal for me since I made the presentation material.
発表自体はそつなくこなせたと思う。ただ、宿題として、太陽光発電所建設に関して、わたしの知識が浅すぎるなと感じた。
I think I could explain it well. However, I sometimes couldn’t understand what they discussed due to a lack of knowledge about solar power plant construction.
次の会社で、新しいプロジェクトに所属した時には、もっと技術についても勉強していきたい。
When I move to a new company or industry, I’m going to acquire new skills.
