明日に次の会社の転職面接が控えている中で、退職理由を変更するようにエージェントから連絡があった。
I’m going to have an interview the day after tomorrow as requested by my recruitment consultant. I was told that I needed to revise the reason for resigning from my current job.
前回の面接の際に、退職理由で今の会社に対するネガティブ発言をしてしまったことがよくなかったらしい。
He told me that I failed the last interview because I gave negative reasons for it.
今更の提案に、ちょっとイラッとくるも、今回のようなダメだった理由をちゃんとヒアリングしてフィードバックしてくれることに感謝したい。
Even though I felt that he should have told me earlier, I thanked him for giving me feedback after hearing from the last company I applied for.
なので、早速新しい理由を考えた。
So, I came up with a new reason for my resignation.
とはいえ、わたしがやりたいと思っている部門での仕事であり、理由を考えるのはそう難しいことではない。自分が思っていることを、そのまま伝えたい。
Anyway, it’s not difficult to make it since the position I’m applying for is the work I want to be involved in. I would like to explain my true feelings to the interviewer.
