先日発覚した未承認施工に関する状況説明会を実施した。
We had a meeting to report on the construction work that happened without the owner’s permission which was found out a few days ago.
予定していた１時間では終わらず、30分ほど延長した。
The meeting didn’t finish within an hour of the time specifications and was prolonged for 30 minutes.
また、追加で資料提出とあいなったものの、発覚した当時と比べると少し相手の出方も大人しくなったように感じた。
In the end, we ended up needing to submit additional reports. I felt that the owner claimed more construction went down than what had actually happened.
というか、呆れられている可能性も否めない。正直、わたしは後者である。
Or maybe, we were disgusted by them. I felt the latter was correct.
未承認施工が発生すること自体、絶対にあってはならないし、かつそれを顧客に指摘されて発覚するという、現場社員はいったい何を管理していたのか甚だ疑問である。
Construction work without permission must not happen. Moreover, the owner should have never been able to reprimand us. I totally have no idea how our site crews manage for the construction.
