I was invited to a remote farewell party for my ex-colleague who had worked with me in Egypt.
わたしはOKの返事を出したが、参加するためにやらなければならないことがある。
I replied OK to the facilitator but there was one task I had to do to attend.
それは、出張からの帰りの飛行機を１本早い便に変更すること。
This is to change my flight returning from the business trip to one hour earlier on the day.
でないと、参加ができない。
I will not be able to attend it if I can’t.
早速、明日上司に掛け合うことにした。今回は、単独での出張なので、おそらくOKになるだろう。
I will get permission from my boss. Luckily, I will be on a business trip alone and my request should be accepted.
