２週間前に続き、今日も無料の英会話に参加してきた。
I attended a free English class for the first time in 2 weeks.
今日は、外国人がいなかったので、レベルは以前よりもさらに優しめ。
Since no foreigners were attending the class, the level of the class was easier than the last time.
英語の練習になるのか不安になったが、それでも話せる貴重な機会なので、なんとか有効活用したい。
I doubt that this would help me to improve my English skills, however, this is one of the valuable opportunities to speak English. I very much want to take advantage of it.
そんな中、今日は高校生の参加者もいて、ちょっと感心した。
I was impressed by the high school students attending today’s class.
ただ、スマホの話題になったとき、その娘がはじめて持った年齢を聞いたら小学二年生だというので驚いた。
We talked about smartphones during the lesson and one of the students told us that she got her first smartphone when she was in 2nd grade in elementary school. I was shocked because it was very early.
