エジプトでお世話になった先輩と電話で話をした。
I talked to my ex-coworker on the phone who had worked with me in Egypt.
来月から転職されるというので、その後の進捗について聞いてみたら、予定通り来月から新しい会社でお仕事をされるとのこと。
He informed me before that he will change his job from next month and he will work at the new company as per his plan.
以前のお話しでは、外国へ駐在するかもしれなかったが、今日現在では、転職後すぐにというわけではないそう。
He was told that he would be assigned abroad, but now it won’t happen as he will change his job.
今後のPJの進捗次第であり得るというので、話を聞いてて羨ましくなった。
As he would be transferred to an overseas branch office depending on the progress of the projects, I envied him when I heard about his opportunity.
最後に、わたしも転職を考えていることを伝えると、よければ新しい会社に誘ってくれるといってくれたので、それも転職先候補として期待したい！
Before hanging up the phone, I confessed that I’m considering whether or not I should change my job again and he said that he may invite me to his new company if he likes it. I’m expecting his offer as one of my next career moves from now on.
