今日は暑さに負けて、妻が夕食を作るのをパスしたいというので、夕方近くのデパートに惣菜を買いに行った。
We went and picked up some prepared food at the department store near our house since my wife wanted to skip cooking today due to the hot weather.
さすがはデパートの食料品だけあって、どれも魅力的なものばかり。
The popular department store in my town, and as expected, was full of fascinating foods.
その中で一番気になったのは、今朝作りたてという豆腐。
The food I was curious about the most was fresh tofu prepared this morning.
同じ１丁でも値段は４倍以上、悩んだ挙げ句に買ってみた。
The price was 4 times the normal price of regular tofu sold in the supermarkets. It was very hard to choose but I ended up deciding to buy it.
食べてみての感想は、作ってまもないということもあり、とても柔らかい食感があった。
My thoughts for the tofu was that it was very soft as it was really fresh.
味もほんのり塩味があり、しょうゆなど何もつけなくても十分おいしい。
It didn’t need any seasoning such as shoyu because it was slightly salty.
