This was yesterday’s story about when I had lunch with my colleague from Zimbabwe who is assigned to the same project as me.
彼は近くにあるハンバーガー屋さんに連れて行ってくれた。
He brought me to a burger shop near the office.
さすがは都内だけあって、値段は想定通りの設定であった。
Due to the restaurant in Tokyo, the price was as expensive as I had expected.
その一方で、混んでいるだけあって味はたしかにおいしかった。
On the other hand, the restaurant was busy, but as expected the burger was so good.
食事もよかったけど、それ以上に外国人と仕事ができるのがなにより嬉しい。
I like burgers, but working with foreigners in the same team makes me happier.
改めて転職してよかったと思う。
