天気予報で11時から雨予報であったが、構わず長男と散歩に行ってきた。
Regardless of the weather forecast saying that it would rain at 11:00, I went for a walk with my son.
歩いていても、そこまで雲がたちこめてきてはなかったので、少し時間が過ぎても大丈夫だろうと思ったら、予報通り11時になって雨が降り出した。
I was expecting that it would not rain since the sky was still bright, but it started raining as expected.
小雨ならば行ってしまおうと思ったが、本降りになってしまい、自宅まで100m手前で雨宿りをするハメになった。
As the rain started to fall in earnest, my son and I had to take shelter from the rain 100 meters from our apartment.
少し待っても雨足が変わらないことから、タクシーを呼ぶために電話をしてみるも、出払ってしまいすぐには対応できないとのこと。
Although we waited for a while, the shower hadn’t changed. So, I called a cab and they couldn’t pick us up because they were busy.
結局、長男と１時間近く雨宿りをした。
As a result, we had to wait for about an hour until the rain stopped.
