新しい会社での初めての出張である。
I went on the first business trip of my new job.
とはいえ、私服での出張はあまりビジネスという気がしない。
However, I didn’t feel this was a business trip since I wore casual clothes.
しかも、初めて関西に行くので、楽しみな面が大きい。
In addition, I have never been to Kansai-region and I was excited about it.
到着後は少し書類の整理をしてから、夕方現場に行ってきた。
I visited the construction site in the evening after arranging documents at the field office.
初めてみる現場に新鮮さを感じつつも、日本の工事現場を見て懐かしさを感じた。
It was refreshing to visit the site for the first time and the site in Japan reminded me of my good old days.
当時は、海外事業部を目指しており、転職することなど微塵も考えていなかった。
At that time when I had worked at the branch office at my previous company, I wanted to work abroad and didn’t think of a job change at all.
この数年間で人生が大きく変わったなと改めて実感した。
I realised that my life has changed drastically in the past years.
