退職日の当日。
Today was the day I quit my current job.
午前中は、先日の大腸カメラの検査結果を聞きに病院へ。
I went to the hospital in the morning to listen to the results of the examination of my large intestine that I took 2 weeks ago.
結果は良性ポリープが直腸に見つかった。
There is a benign polyp in my rectum.
とくに摘出しなくても問題はないとのことだが、大事をとって摘出してもらうことにした。
Although my doctor explained that extraction was not mandatory, I decided to take surgery to remove it just in case.
終わった後は、そのまま会社へ向かった。
I went to the office to work after the hospital.
自分で使っていたPCの中身を整理して、お世話になった方々へ電話での挨拶を済ませた。
I deleted my data from my PC and called some of my colleagues to say goodbye.
そして最後、上司から退職の辞令をもらい、職場のメンバーへ退職の挨拶をして終わった。
In the end, I received my resignation letter from my boss and was greeted by members from my department.
