駅ビルにあるスポーツ用品店にて新しいスニーカーを購入した。
I bought a pair of new shoes at a sports shop in the shopping mall of the station building.
これまでは安ければいいと思っていたが、最近は毎日散歩にいくので少し予算を上げて10,000円以内とし、最終的に9,500円のものを購入。
I thought that the cheaper the better for shoes for a long time. But I have been walking around every day in the past few years. So, I changed my mind and increased the budget for shoes to ¥10,000 and bought them for ¥9,500.
中には、30,000円以上もするスニーカーもあり、試しに履いてみると軽くて履きやすいのをその場で実感できた。
I found shoes for more than ¥30,000 while looking around in the shop and tried them on. They were lighter and super easy to walk in.
今回は、想定していなかったので高い方の靴は買わなかったが、次回買うときまでによく検討したい。
However, I didn’t buy them because they were over the budget. I think I would like to try expensive shoes like those next time.
靴はいろいろな場面で見られるし、いい靴を履いていると自分の自信にもつながるからである。
Shoes are seen on many occasions, such as first meeting, sitting on a bench, and wearing high-quality shoes leads to confidence.
