転職先の企業にオファー面談のために行ってきた。
I went to the office to have an offer meeting where I will move to this June.
初めての会社訪問ということで、ジャケットにネクタイを締めて行ってきたが、その必要は全くなかった。
This was my first time visiting their office, so I wore a jacket and a tie but it wasn’t necessary at all.
応対してくれた部長は、Tシャツにジーンズのいでたちでサラリーマンとは思えない格好であった。
My new boss wore a T-shirt and jeans. This means he doesn’t look like an office worker.
また、案内してくれた会社内で仕事をされていた方々も、みなさんラフな格好でスーツは必要ないと教えてくれた。
Besides, the people working in the office also wore casual clothes and he told me that I will not need to wear suits when I enter.
スーツで仕事をするよりも、着慣れた服装の方が効率も上がるので、大変ありがたい。
I am very grateful because wearing casual clothes is more productive than wearing suits.
今の会社とは全く異なる社風にとても魅力を感じた。
I felt that the different company culture at this company suites me more than my current company.
