先日の面接での面接官の２つの言葉がずっと気になっている。
2 things have been bothering me since the interview 2 days ago.
転職活動として、いまは１社しか受けていないと返事をしたときのネガティブな返答。それと、転職はゲームでいうところの武器を買い換えるくらいだということ。
One is an interviewer’s negative reaction when I replied that I was now applying for the company only. And second is the interviewer’s opinion about job hunting which is like a change of weapon in a role-playing game.
たしかに面接官の言う通り、転職活動にはもう少し積極的になってもいいと思うので、他のエージェントを経由して、他のポジションにもチャレンジしてみる。
As she said, I should be more active and will try to apply for other positions recommended by recruitment consultants.
また、転職に対する考え方であるが、こちらはもう少し軽く考えてみてもいいのではないかと。
Moreover, for the mindset for job hunting, I may take it a little lightly.
武器を買い換えるのは、いわばその武器で限界を感じたときに代えるのであって、今のように使い飽きて代えるものではない。
When you feel you’re at the limit of your weapon, you change your weapon. It’s not the right timing when you get tired of your weapon.
いずれにしても、もっと大胆にチャレンジしてみる。
Anyway, I will be more active.
