今日は朝一から上司へ案件実施に伴う事前説明があった。時間は30分、Web会議での説明となった。
I had a remote conference to explain a project that was to be assigned to my director first thing in the morning. It was 30 minutes in length.
会議では案件の内容やスケジュール、従事するメンバーの説明を行った。
I explained the outline, schedule, and members of the project to him.
しかし、上司からの指摘事項は、そんなことではなくコロナ対策についてであった。
However, he didn’t seem to care about it and just pointed out countermeasures for the COVID-19.
提案書類に記載されている隔離期間が現在のものとは違う、とのこと。
He told me that the quarantine described in my documents was different from the current situation.
現地渡航はまだ先であり、その際に確認すればいいと思っていたが、そんなつまらないところだけの指摘だった。
I thought that I would confirm it later because the business trip is a bit far into the future to plan for. His concerns however, were very minor and not related to the project directly.
大したことをいわれなくて良かったと思う一方、つまらない指摘にモチベーションが下がった。
Even though I was relieved that he pointed out something big, his worthless concern made my motivation for the project decrease.
