仕事復帰初日に台風が来た。
Today was the day that I restarted my main job and there was a typhoon.
ニュースで言っていたとおり、雨と風が強い台風だった。
As the weather forecast said, it was very windy and rained all day.
昼休みに散歩も行けなかったが、階段トレーニングはできたので、朝と昼の２回実施した。
Though I wasn’t able to go for a walk, I could train at the stairs both in the morning and during my lunchtime.
仕事のほうは、カンタンな説明があったのみで、振られることはなかった。
In regards to my work, I wasn’t assigned any tasks today even though I was orientated about my job.
待っていてもしょうがないので、グループの人に連絡して手伝えることがないかを確認し、英文チェックを行った。
Because it’s no use waiting around for an assignment, I called my colleagues to ask about any tasks I could help with. One of them gave me a task to check and correct the English documents.
直したい気持ちに狩られる英文であったが、ドラフト版ということで、細かい修正は次に持ち越し、致命的な部分の修正のみ実施。
Even for me, there are grammatical mistakes in the documents. Since it was a draft and needed to be submitted by today, I just corrected the critical ones.
