実家での生活２日目で、長男が産まれてからはじめて実家に泊まった。
Today was the second day we stayed at my parents’ house and this is the first time to do so after my child was born.
見慣れない両親に泣く場面もあったが、時間が解決してくれると思う。
He cried when he was spoken to by his grandparents because he isn’t used to seeing them. However, it is just a matter of time until he is.
また、たいていの場合、妻と夫側の母親とはギクシャクすることが多いが、わたしの家では、結婚してからマンションに引っ越す前まで、エジプトから日本へ帰ってきたときの数週間を過ごすことが何度かあったので、妻もとくに緊張することなく生活している。
On the other hand, the wives usually don’t get along with their mother-in-law, though this is no problem for my wife. Every time I come back to Japan, we both stayed at my parents’ house before moving to our current apartment while I worked in Egypt.
