今日は実家に行ってきた。
My wife, my child, and I visited my parents’ house.
月に１度の一緒にごはんを食べる日。みんなで昼食を食べた。
Today is the day that we normally see and eat lunch with them, once a month.
そのあとは、父方の親戚に生まれてはじめて長男を見せた。
And my paternal relatives came and were able to see my child.
本来であれば、うちが連れて行くべきところであるが、こちらに来る用事があるというので、実家に集まった。祖母は足が悪く、杖を使わないと歩くことができない。
I should have carried my child to them because my grandmother has to walk with a cane. But at the time, my relatives had to run some errands.
そのため、移動も一苦労であるため30分程度で帰ってしまった。
They just stayed only for 30 minutes and went back to their house.
今度は、こちらからちゃんと挨拶にいきたい。
I will visit their house so that they can see my child more next time.
