震災10年目になった。
It’s been ten years since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
もうそんなに経っていたんだと改めて実感した。
I feel like time flies.
当時は、外で工事監理中であった。
I was supervising maintenance work outside when the earthquake happened.
機器が音をたてて揺れていたのを覚えている。
I remember that the equipment shook with a loud sound during the earthquake.
普段であれば会社にいるので、そのときの話しを同僚としていた。
I was in the office on March 11th and talked to my coworkers about what happened on that day.
一去年もエジプトにいながら、現地で日本のニュースを見て、震災の話しをしていた。
Even when I was in Egypt, I watched Japanese news and talked to my coworkers about the earthquake.
今年は育休で、妻とだけではあるが震災の話しをした。
However, I talked to my wife only because of my paternity leave.
来年は、きっと同じ会社の人とは話をしていない。
I think that I probably won’t talk to many people who work at the same company next year.
どうなっているか、楽しみである。
