Team Lunch at Barbacoa: A Meat Lover’s Paradise

チームビルディングを兼ねてみんなでランチ。

For our team-building activity, we had lunch on the company’s expense.

 

場所は、ブラジリアンBBQでおなじみのバルバッコア。昨年も、退職する方といっしょに行ったので、2回目の経験。

We went to the famous Brazilian BBQ restaurant, Barbacoa. Since I’ve been there once before with former colleagues, this was my second visit.

 

前回とは違う支店に行ってきた。カレーがあったり、ソフトクリームがあったりと前回より安かったのに種類が豊富だった。

However, this time it was a different branch, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they served curry and ice cream at this location.

 

お肉は前回通りの美味しさで大満足。ランチにも関わらず、たらふく食べてきた。前回はいちぼと呼ばれる部位が一番おいしかったけど、若干脂っぽさを感じてしまい、サーロインが一番だった。

I ended up eating even more than last time, even though the price was cheaper since it was a lunch menu. The BBQ meat—the highlight of the meal—was just as excellent as I remembered. I was completely full just from the variety of meats, even at lunchtime. This time, I thought the sirloin was the best, whereas last time I preferred the rump cap, which I found a bit too fatty this time.

 

もちろん、そのほかのお肉も十分おいしかった。たまに食べる牛肉は最高。また食べたい。

Of course, the other offerings like the salad were fantastic as well. Treating myself to beef once in a while is great—I already want to go again soon!
