会社で使っていたプリンターをフリマアプリで売却した。
I sold the printer we used at the office through a flea market app.
もっと売れるまでに時間がかかると思っていたけど、意外とすんなり売れた。価格も当初よりは値下げしたものの、それでも許容範囲内。
Although I thought it would take some time to sell, it actually sold faster than I expected. While I had to lower the price a few times, the final price was acceptable.
段ボールを準備しての梱包作業。前職からいっしょに仕事をして、現職にも誘ったら来てくれた人。そんな人といっしょにこうして作業することも転職すると無くなってしまうと思うと、これは楽しい思い出になるだろう。
To prepare for shipping, I packed the printer into a cardboard box. My assistant—who worked with me at my previous company and followed me to this one at my invitation—helped with the packing. This may be the last task we do together before I change jobs, and I think it will remain a good memory for me in the future.
果たして、次の職場でも、彼女のように信頼できる仲間を作ることができるだろうか。それが少し不安でもある。
I do wonder whether I’ll be able to build strong relationships like the one I had with her in my new role, and it’s something I’m concerned about.
とはいえ、挑戦しないことには始まらないし、海外で仕事をしたいと思っている以上、１人で進んでいかなければならない。転職の原点に立ち返り、また一匹狼で突き進んでいきたいと心に決めたのであった。
But I won’t know until I take the leap and start the new job. Now, I feel the desire to work abroad again. So, I need to move forward on my own. It reminds me of when I decided to leave my first company—and now, I’m about to start a new chapter.
