Tempura Perfection at Yukimura: A Worthwhile Shortcut and a Satisfying Lunch

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

Since it was sunny today, I walked to the famous restaurant Yukimura—known for its tempura rice bowl—with my assistant.

Due to some work delays, we were running behind schedule, so we discussed it and decided to take a cab to the restaurant. That decision turned out to be a great one.

When we arrived, we were able to get seats without waiting in line, and by the time we left, there was already a queue of customers outside. In other words, we bought ourselves some extra time by taking the shortcut.

The tempura rice bowl was excellent. The tempura was freshly fried, perfectly crispy, and packed with shrimp. The soy-based dipping sauce was also a great match.

On top of that, they offered free extra rice, and I was completely satisfied with the lunch. As expected, eating freshly fried food right out of the kitchen is the best. Even though fried food isn’t the healthiest, I still want to enjoy it occasionally. That’s why, when I do indulge, I want it to be really good—so I was happy that today’s meal met my expectations.

To be continued.
