You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
I went to the same Jiro-style ramen shop today again, this time with my assistant.
We arrived after the lunch rush, so the place wasn’t crowded. It’s none of my business, but I do wonder if they can keep the shop running at this pace. That said, as a customer, it’s great to enjoy good ramen without having to wait in line — and that’s exactly what I did today.
Having a Jiro-style ramen shop nearby is one of the perks of our current office, but of course, it’s not a deciding factor when it comes to choosing a job.
I’m still unsure about what to do with my job change. I received an offer from a former boss I trust, but the salary would be a significant step down. On the other hand, my current job is extremely boring, gives me no sense of accomplishment, and I don’t see a future for this company.
Although now seems like a good time to leave, I haven’t received any job offers from my recruitment consultant, and I haven’t landed any interviews either. At this point, I feel like I only have two cards left to play.
To be continued.
