盛岡での夜は、リベシティの方との一献。もちろん、わたしはお酒は飲まないで参加。
For dinner in Morioka, I met up with my friends from Libe City for drinks. Of course, I didn’t drink alcohol.
場所は普通の飲み屋さん。それこそ盛岡っぽい焼肉とかでもよかったけど、楽しいメンバーとの会合であれば、食べるものはなんでもいい。
The place was a typical Japanese-style pub. Although we could have gone to a famous Japanese BBQ restaurant in Morioka, I didn’t really mind the location or the menu as long as I was spending time with my trusted friends.
仲間といっしょに楽しい夜を過ごした。でも、あと何回できるだろうか。
We had a great conversation, and I have no idea how many more nights like this I’ll be able to have.
転職を考えている中で、開発から離れるのであれば、日本各地に行くこともなくなる。建設フェーズに行くのであれば、担当しているサイトにしか行かない。
Right now, I’m considering changing jobs. If I take a role that doesn’t involve project development, I won’t have the chance to travel around Japan. If I become a construction manager, I’ll only visit sites when necessary.
いろいろ考えると、やっぱり１つ前の会社を辞めたのは失敗だったのかなと思う。会社のメンバーでいい人がいなかったけど、それでも仕事は楽しかったし、社外の人とのつながりはとても楽しかった。戻れるものなら戻りたい。
Looking at everything in hindsight, quitting my previous company might have been a mistake. Although my colleagues there were terrible, I loved my role, and the project stakeholders were great. If I could, I’d go back.
