ちゃんこ長がちゃんこ鍋オフ会に参加。２回目の開催で、家族で参加させてもらうことに。
I attended a meet-up to enjoy chanko hot pot made by a sumo wrestler. This was the second time the event was held, and I attended with my family.
会が始まる前、隅田川沿いを散歩中、子供を抱っこしたときに脇腹を負傷。どうなるかと思ったけど、しっぷを買って応急処置。
Before the meet-up, we walked along the Sumida River. While carrying my son in my arms, I suddenly got a cramp in my side. For a moment, I thought I might not be able to attend, but I applied a cold compress as first aid and managed to pull through.
メンバーは前回とほぼ同じ。うちの妻子が入ったくらいであまりメンバーに変化はないけど、逆にそれがいい。仲の良いメンバーでの食事ほど楽しいものはない。
Most of the attendees were the same as last time, except for my wife and son. In a way, that made it feel like a tight-knit community. There’s nothing more enjoyable than sharing a meal with reliable friends.
今回は、魚介豚骨でのちゃんこ鍋を作ってくれた。そして、ちゃんこ長特製つみれやちゃんぽん麺での〆、唐揚げは前回にはなく、いずれもメッチャおいしい。大きいお鍋持参で作ってくれたけど、結果して全員で食べきった。
This time, the sumo wrestler prepared the chanko hot pot with a fish-based broth. He included minced chicken, noodles for the final course, and even fried chicken as a side—all of which were fantastic. Even though he brought a larger pot than last time, we finished everything.
とてもおいしい料理を手作りで振る舞ってくれるちゃんこ長、そんな彼に出会えたことに感謝。これだけでも、リベシティに入会したかいがある。広く浅く付き合うのではなく、ここで出会えたメンバーのように密度濃く話ができる人との時間を大切にしていきたい。
The sumo wrestler, who is also the leader of his sumo team, always cooks incredible meals with plenty of food for everyone. I truly appreciate his generosity. Meeting him has been one of the best parts of joining Libe City. Rather than having a large number of shallow connections, I want to build deep relationships with a select group of people.
