昨夜の帰り道もサンライズ号。しかも、人生で初めてのサンライズツインの部屋。
I chose the sleeper express Sunrise Seto to return to Tokyo, and for the first time in my life, I was able to secure a twin compartment.
一番少ない部屋で、１編成あたり４部屋しかないため、選んでとれるものではないけど、今回たまたま空いていたので、すぐに予約。ちょっと値が張るので、躊躇したけど結果して購入してよかった。
The train has only four twin compartment rooms, so I can’t always get the room I want. However, when I checked the availability online, the room happened to be free, and I secured the ticket without hesitation. Although I had to pay double due to the twin compartment, I was happy to take it once I entered the room.
初めての２人部屋、１階席なので景色はあまり望めないけど、線路にとても近く走行音もよく聞こえて、わたしのような鉄道が好きな人にとってはとてもいい部屋。
This was my first time staying in a compartment. Since the room is located on the lower level of the train, I couldn’t see much of the view. On the other hand, I could see the tracks and hear the train sounds more clearly, which made it a great choice for someone like me who loves trains.
もし、家族で取れたならとてもいい経験になったと思う反面、こうして引退前に取ることができてうれしい。
I felt that it was a good opportunity to ride the sleeper express, especially since I could secure the ticket for a family trip. Anyway, I’m happy I was able to experience staying in the compartment before it’s retired.
ホントに動くホテルのよう。快適な電車の旅で出張を締めくくることができた。あとは、転職に向かって突き進むのみ！
Staying in the room felt like being in a moving hotel, and I was able to finish my business trip with a comfortable train ride. From now on, I’ll focus on my job change.
