昨日の自転車の練習の後、先日の幼稚園のお迎えのときに見つけたフルーツパフェ専門店に行ってきた。
We went to a fruit parfait shop we had noticed on our way home from my son’s kindergarten last week, after his bicycle practice.
思っていた以上に盛況で、お店に入るまでに少し待たされた。
When we arrived, there were quite a few customers, so we had to wait a few minutes.
せっかくなので、家族で一番大きいものをと思い、子供が食べたかったシャインマスカットといちごがどっさり乗っかったパフェをチョイス。
When it was time to order, I wanted to take this opportunity to try the biggest parfait on the menu. We decided on a parfait loaded with Shine Muscat grapes and strawberries.
値段は4,000円となかなか。フルーツも高くなっているし、たまの出費ならば仕方ない。
It cost 4,000 yen, which was a bit pricey. However, I found it acceptable since fruit has become expensive, and having a parfait is a rare treat for us.
味は、満足できるおいしさ。とはいえ、昨年から買い始めた友人の農家が作ってくれたシャインマスカットには遠く及ばない。あのシャインマスカットがまた食べたいと思った。今年の収穫が待ち遠しい。
The taste was great. However, last year, we had an incredibly good Shine Muscat from my friend’s farm, and today’s grapes didn’t quite measure up. It made me want to eat my friend’s Shine Muscat again. I’m looking forward to having them this year.
