父方の実家に家族で遊びに行ってきた。
I went to my grandfather’s house with my son and wife.
コロナになって以降、全く行けてなかったので、約５年ぶり。
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we hadn’t been there, and this was my first time visiting his house in five years.
もし、GT-Rがあれば、楽しいドライブになったけど、もうないので、いつもどおりにレンタカーを借りて行ってきた。
If I still had my GT-R, the drive to his house would have been a great ride with my family. However, since I no longer have it, I rented a car as usual.
現地で、両親と合流し、親戚が集まっての昼飯になった。久しぶりの親戚訪問。
At his house, we gathered with my parents and had lunch together. It was a nice opportunity to see my relatives.
子供は途中から退屈そうにしていたけど、久しぶりに会う親戚との話は楽しかった。GT-Rがなくたって、楽しいことはいくらでもあるということを改めて感じた１日だった。
Even though my son was bored while we were there, it was still a great time to spend with everyone. I realized that I could have a wonderful day even without my GT-R.
