３連休の初日。例によって、コンテナ弁当第四段を探しに子供と東京駅へ。しかし、発見することはできず、、、
It was the first day of the three-day weekend. As usual, my son and I went to Tokyo Station to look for the fourth freight container lunch box, but we couldn’t find it again today.
さいたま新都心駅に戻って、いつも通りの電車鑑賞に。お昼も、いつものラーメン屋さんでの食事。何も変わらない休日。
After that, we went back to Saitama-Shintoshin Station to watch the trains, which has become our weekend routine. We also stopped by our favorite ramen shop. It was just another ordinary weekend, with nothing particularly different.
ただ１つだけ違うのは、駅に隣接するショッピングモールで大道芸が行われていたこと。
However, there was one thing that made today special—a street performance was being held at the mall next to the station.
普段、見ない人間のパフォーマンスに子供も大興奮。敷地内のいろいろな場所で行われていたので、すっかりたくさんのパフォーマンスを見学してしまった。
It was my son’s first time watching a street performance, and he was really excited. Different performances were happening at various spots around the mall, so we walked around to check them out.
都度、おひねりを渡さなければならず、お金は使ってしまったけど悪くはない。結局、夕方までずっと見て、自宅に帰った。子供も喜んでくれたしわたしも楽しかったので、よかった。
At the end of the performance, the audience was expected to give a cash tip to the performer. We ended up paying quite a bit, but I didn’t mind—it felt like a good use of money. We stayed at the mall until the evening and got home early at night. It was a great way to spend the first day of the weekend.
