I had the final interview for the Customer Success Manager role, and the interviewer was the APAC manager.
Since it had been a while since my last interview in English, I was very nervous. During the interview, there were times when I couldn’t fully understand the questions. Thankfully, having an interpreter present was the right decision, as they helped clarify the questions and assisted me in expressing my answers. With their help, I was able to respond to all the interviewer’s questions.
During the discussion, I asked about the sense of achievement this role might offer. The interviewer explained that the position involves not only improving satisfaction among existing clients but also acquiring new clients.
If this is accurate, the role wouldn’t just be about maintaining existing customers—which I find monotonous—but would also allow me to use my skills to take on more dynamic tasks, potentially increasing my sense of accomplishment.
I’m still undecided about whether this position is the right fit for me, and I’m going back and forth in my mind. I genuinely wonder what the best course of action is.
To be continued.
