Noodles, Balance, and Productive Mornings: A Reflection on Choices

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

Today, I had noodles without broth for the first time in a while.

According to my diary, the last time I ate these noodles was back in August, so it’s been at least a month and a half. Initially, I planned to order an extra-large portion, but I ended up just getting an extra portion. After eating, I realized that was the right choice.

While waiting for my order, I felt a bit jealous of the person next to me who had ordered the extra-large portion. However, my portion was enough to make me full. If I had eaten more in the morning, I probably wouldn’t have been able to work as usual.

Also, I’ve noticed that if I eat too much, I can’t concentrate during my study time before work, which makes it feel pointless. That said, I always feel great on days when I have noodles in the morning. Although I only allow myself morning ramen once a week, I’m starting to think I should increase that.

By the way, I was flagged in a health check-up at work for having cholesterol levels that were too low.

To be continued.
