I had an appointment with car dealers to inspect my GT-R.
We met at a parking lot near my apartment. A total of three dealers examined my car, and all of them mentioned the price I originally paid for it. It turns out the dealer I bought it from is well-known in the industry for offering high prices, and I fell for their strategy.
As for the offers to buy my car, all three promised higher prices than what the original dealer proposed.
Although this was a car I had wanted to own for a long time, I made several mistakes—especially at the very start. In hindsight, I should have compared offers from other dealers.
This was a major purchase for me, but for some reason, I didn’t take the time to shop around, and I deeply regret that now. There’s nothing I can do to change it, but I’ve learned my lesson. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another car again, but if I do decide to make another big purchase, I’ll make sure to compare options more carefully.
To be continued.
