今日は子供の運動会。
The sports festival at my son’s kindergarten was held today.
雨には降られなかったけど、曇天のため肌寒い中での開催になった。前日までずっと雨が降っていて雨が上がってくれたのだけは救い。
Although it didn’t rain, the temperature was quite low due to the cloudy weather. Still, I was thankful that the rain stopped last night.
徒競走や親子での障害物競争などが、子供が出場した演目。見学していて、子供の成長をと時間の経過の早さを実感。
My son participated in the foot race, an obstacle race with me, and a dance performance. Watching him, I couldn’t help but feel how much he has grown—it’s incredible how quickly time flies.
学校でもたくさん学んでいくけど、親として、どれくらいを教えてあげられるだろうか。
He will learn many things as he progresses through school, and I often wonder how much I’ll be able to teach him myself.
海外にたくさん連れて行って、いろいろなことにチャレンジさせて、子どもの将来を決めるにあたっての一助になれればベストかな。父親として、将来の目標にしてくれたらうれしい。
I plan to take him overseas and expose him to various activities, so he’ll have plenty of options to choose from when deciding what he wants to be in the future. As his father, nothing would make me happier than being someone he looks up to as an ideal father.
