ひげ脱毛の12回目。
I just had my 12th laser hair removal treatment for facial hair.
疲れのせいか、今日の麻酔はいつも以上に効いてくれたので、照射レベルを強くしたレーザーでも痛みをあまり感じなかった。20回がゴールなので、あと8回。
Due to how tired I was, the anesthesia felt stronger than usual, so I didn’t feel any pain from the laser, even though the nurse mentioned that it was set to a higher intensity this time. My goal is 20 treatments, and now I’ve passed the halfway point.
そして、なにより、そのあと、会社の同僚とお昼ご飯を食べに行ったのがよかった。おかげで、ヒゲ脱毛の痛みなどどこかに消えてしまった。
What I enjoyed most, though, was having lunch with my colleague afterward. It was such a nice break that I completely forgot about any discomfort from the treatment.
相談した末に、行ったのは東京駅にある二郎系ラーメン。ラッキーなことにお昼にも関わらず、ちょっとしか並ばずに食べることができた。
On our way to the restaurant, we discussed the menu and decided to go to a Jiro-style ramen shop near Tokyo Station. Luckily, even though we got there a little after lunchtime, we didn’t have to wait long.
前回と同じオーダーだったにも関わらず、量が少なかったのは、少々残念ではあったけど、それでも大満足。今の職場に不満はあるけど、こうしていい人がいるのも事実。転職すべきか迷ってしまう。金銭的には満足しているので、もう少しここで仕事をしていてもいいのかもしれない。ボーナスでどうするかを決めたい。
I ordered the same ramen as last time, but the portion size for both the noodles and vegetables was a bit smaller. Still, I was satisfied with the meal. Although I’m not completely satisfied with my current company, I do appreciate the reliable colleagues I have here. I’ve been wondering whether I should move to another company, but since my annual income is decent, it might be worth staying a bit longer. I’ll likely make my decision based on the upcoming performance bonus.
