地元で開催されたリベシティの交流会に参加。
I attended a networking meet-up in my hometown.
参加者の中で、医師の方がいて、知り合いに国境なき医師団に従事している人がという。
One of the attendees was a doctor, and she mentioned having a friend who used to work with Doctors Without Borders.
詳しく話を聞くと、残念ながら、すでに連絡が途絶えて数年が経過しており、改めてコンタクトをとるのは難しいそう。
I listened intently as she spoke about her friend, but unfortunately, she lost contact with them a few years ago, so she’s no longer able to reach them.
せっかく、わたしの夢が一歩前進するかと思ったけど、それは叶わず。
I had hoped this conversation might help bring me closer to my dream, but that wasn’t the case.
入団するのはカンタンではないことはわかっているし、それこそすぐに叶えられてしまってはつまらない。GT-Rを買うよりも何倍も難しいはず。根気強くアピールし続け、絶対に達成させたい！
I understand that joining Doctors Without Borders is extremely difficult, and I believe that it wouldn’t be as fulfilling if the goal were too easy to achieve. I’m sure it’s much harder than even buying a GT-R. I’m going to continue sharing my goal with everyone around me so that, eventually, I’ll be able to make it a reality.
