会社で仕事をするも、なんと出社しているのはわたし１人。
I was the only one working at the office today.
おかげで、ゆっくり仕事を進めることができた。せっかくなので、お昼にリベ友から聞いて気になっていた人形町にある二郎系ラーメンのお店へ行こうと思っていたけど、お昼を食べると仕事に集中できないので止めた。
Thanks to that, I was able to focus on my tasks without any distractions. I had planned to take advantage of the opportunity by visiting a ramen shop that serves Jiro-style ramen, which was recommended by my friend from Libe City. However, I ended up canceling the plan because I usually struggle to concentrate after eating a big lunch.
正直、ちょっと後悔はしている。けど、皇居を１周してきてリフレッシュできた。１周5kmでちょうど１時間の散歩ルート。今日で２回目で、とても気分がいい。
Honestly, I regret that decision a little. But instead, I took a walk around the Imperial Palace and felt refreshed. The route is just 5 kilometers and takes about an hour to complete. It was my second time walking there, and I really enjoy it.
二郎系ラーメンは地元でも食べられるけど、皇居の散歩は今の会社でしかできない。もう少し涼しくなれば、昼休みだけで回ってこれるので、涼しくなるのが楽しみ。
Although I can eat Jiro-style ramen in my hometown anytime, walking around the Imperial Palace is something I can only do while working at my current company. Once the weather gets cooler, I’ll be able to do this during my lunch breaks, meaning I can go on regular workdays too. I’m really looking forward to the change in seasons.
あと何回、皇居を周れるだろうか。少ない期間でできるだけ歩きに行きたい。
I wonder how many more times I’ll get to walk around the Imperial Palace. I want to make the most of this limited opportunity while I can.
