Career Chats Over Ramen: Focusing on My Own Path

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

After the sauna yesterday, I met up with a friend from the Libe City community and we went to dinner.

We originally planned to go to a different Jiro-style ramen shop near the office, but it was closed. Instead, we went to a place I’ve been to before. We didn’t have to wait in line, and the ramen came out quickly. It was delicious!

After dinner, we went to a nearby cafe to talk about her job change. I was surprised to hear that she already found a new job and started working at a new company in August. She said she wasn’t in a hurry to change jobs and wanted to learn more about career development.

I advised her to find a reliable recruitment consultant and set some career goals.

I know I need to focus on my own career before giving advice to others. Even though my recruitment consultant has referred me to a few positions, none of them seem like the right fit. I’m going to carefully review these positions and companies this time.

To be continued.
